  • Is the Presence™ solution platform secure?

    Absolutely. Presence™ is HIPAA-compliant, built to conform to the requirements of SOC 2 & ISO 27001 and secure across text, voice, WhatsApp, and email. Presence™ also establishes a BAA with your clinic to ensure complete protection of PHI shared between your clinic, HIPAA-covered patients and entities, and Presence. Our platform partners are also some of the world’s most trusted and secure tech platforms in the industry, including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, BestBuy Health, and Xealth, in addition to our coeus.health™ h³c platform which securely manages hundreds of thousands of medical devices and billions of data points across the country.

  • Which languages does Presence™ use to communicate?

    Presence™ can communicate with patients in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Chinese simplified, Chinese traditional, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic, French, Korean, Russian. Languages were chosen based on U.S. Census data and AMN Healthcare statistics. This is important because 22% of Americans (67.8 million people) speak a language other than English at home and conversing in the language one is most comfortable in can help patients adhere to medication protocols and stay on target with their health goals.

  • How long does it take for the platform to get up and running?

    Once we establish a BAA to ensure complete protection of PHI shared between HIPAA-covered entities, you provide us with upcoming patient appointments for the next 30-days, secure flat files to begin with, followed by direct ADT integrations.   • Does Presence™ communicate with patients by text?

    Yes as well as email depending on your patient’s preference. Studies have found that a majority of patients prefer texting as their mode of communication and upwards of 89% of consumers prefer to have access to texting their healthcare provider. Factor in the challenge of answering all incoming calls (on average 42% go unanswered) and listening to and returning voicemails, and it is easy to see why having a front desk extension, through Presence™ can free up your staff and let patients communicate when they want, how they want, from wherever they want. Presence™ will also be introducing an option for voice in the near future.

  • Is the Presence™ solution using AI?

    We use a type of conversational and generative AI technology known as Large Language Models (LLMs). LLMs use deep learning and neural networks to focus on language-based tasks with the ability to access a large dataset of text and more. These characteristics give LLMs a deep understanding of human language and the world which enables Presence™ to learn and adapt to each patient’s conversational style. We also have a Human Safety Harness, members of our coeus.health team, who monitor all patient communication exchanges and constantly fine tune elements of our Presence™ solution. Presence™ is secure and safe, and does not provide any clinical advice. The LLMs/AI are focused on ensuring a natural life-like conversation to best help patients and facilitate operational and logistics insights.

  • Can we see an example of how Presence engages in customer satisfaction surveying with a patient?

  • How is Presence™ follow-up different than a satisfaction survey?

    Presence™ is so much more than a survey. Presence™ follows-up with patients on your desired timeline and does so by text in an engaging conversational manner in up to ten languages. Patients feel listened to and there are opportunities for them to express sentiments, questions, and other items that offer your clinic powerful real-time insights into their health journey or your clinic facilities and operations. Your clinic will learn whether they were satisfied with your staff and their care, and, just as important, patients will be able to ask follow-up questions or address concerns about medication, protocols and more.

  • What are some of the immediate results we might experience?

    Our favorite part of our work is the positive impact we have on clinic staff. There will be many positive results, some immediate and some that will happen over time. In the short run, prepare to get three hours a day back to work on other important matters.   • Can patients with Parkinsons use Presence™?

    Patients with Parkinson's who prefer working on an iPad for its touch-screen ability, can access Presence™ on that device.

  • Does Presence™ diagnose?

    No. Presence™ will not diagnose patients and will politely inform patients of that fact. Our human team has built guardrails to ensure Presence™ does not diagnose. Our human team also monitors all messaging to ensure success. Presence™ will also not provide any clinical feedback or advice. Presence™ will not ever be impatient, unkind or impolite. Presence™ never forgets to return calls or fill canceled appointments.
